Why do we continue to compete with and permit outsourcing to foreign countries whose wage rates are below poverty level? The only way a country providing health benefits, life insurance, workman’s comp, soc sec., etc can compete against wages of a few cents per day is for our own standards to desintegrate to the low level of other comperitors. Why do we continue to put ourselves in this unbalanced situation?

Will Obama’s crazy tax plan destroy the economy? ?
INTERESTING DATA ON TAXES

Spread the word…..

This is something you should be
Aware of so you don’t get blind-sided.
This is really going to catch a lot
Of families off guard. It should
Make you worry.

Proposed changes in taxes after 2008 General election:

CAPITAL GAINS TAX

MCCAIN
0% on home sales up to $500,000
Per home (couples) McCain does not
Propose any change in existing
Home sales income tax.

OBAMA
28% on profit from ALL home sales

How does this affect you?
If you sell your home and make a profit, you
Will pay 28% of your gain on taxes.
If you are heading toward retirement
And would like to down-size your
Home or move into a retirement
Community, 28% of the money you
Make from your home will go to taxes. This
Proposal will adversely affect the
Elderly who are counting on the income
From their homes as part of their retirement income.

DIVIDEND TAX

MCCAIN 15% ( no change)

OBAMA 39.6%

How will this affect you?
If you have any money invested in stock
Market, IRA, mutual funds,
College funds, life insurance, retirement
Accounts, or anything that pays
Or reinvests dividends, you will now
Be paying nearly 40% of the money
Earned on taxes if Obama become president.
The experts predict that ‘higher
Tax rates on dividends and capital gains
Would crash the stock market yet
Do absolutely nothing to cut the deficit.

INCOME TAX

MCCAIN (no changes)

Single making 30K – tax $4,500
Single making 50K – tax $12,500
Single making 75K – tax $18,750
Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K – tax $18,750
Married making 125K – tax $31,250

OBAMA
(reversion to pre-Bush tax cuts)
Single making 30K – tax $8,400
Single making 50K – tax $14,000
Single making 75K – tax $23,250
Married making 60K – tax $16,800
Married making 75K – tax $21,000
Married making 125K – tax $38,750

Under Obama your taxes will more than double!
How does this affect you? No explanation
Needed. This is pretty straight forward.

INHERITANCE TAX

MCCAIN 0% (No change, Bush repealed this tax)

OBAMA Restore the inheritance tax

How does this affect you? Many families
Have lost businesses, farms and ranches, and homes
That have been in their families
For generations because they could not
Afford the inheritance tax.
Those willing their assets to loved
Ones will not only lose them to these taxes.

NEW TAXES BEING PROPOSED BY OBAMA

* New government taxes proposed on
Homes that are more than
2400 square feet

* New gasoline taxes (as if
Gas weren’t high enough already)

* New taxes on natural resources
Consumption (heating
Gas, water, electricity)

* New taxes on retirement accounts
And last but not least….

* New taxes to pay for socialized medicine
So we can receive the same
Level of medical care as other
Third-world countries!!!

Why Should I care about what happens in the economy?
I graduated college in December of 2007 with honors in my M.Ed and B.S. in Social Science. I have sent out hundreds of resumes to every school district in surrounding area in which I live in. I have been a substitute teacher for a number of districts and worked a lot of low paying jobs on the side. After all that I have achieved all I am making is $17K a year.

I have had no medical, dental and life insurance coverage for over four years. I have not seen a doctor in the same amount of time and am currently close to defaulting on my student loan. Will some one tell me why I really should care any more? Why should I keep struggling for a dream that died with the baby boomer generation? My credit is ruined because of the lack of consistent work and pay a high interest rate on my car loan. Where is the opportunity that I keep looking for? Should I just say I quit, live with my parents and say they hell with every thing? Why do I feel so beaten when I made the honors list at my college every damn semester?

I have no items of luxury including a cell phone, Ipad and gaming system. My clothes don’t sport a designer logo and eating out is turkey with mayo on a hard roll. Where is the dream and hope of succeeding and living the American dream when gas is close to $5. a gallon?

No offense Mike.

You picked a field that no one is hiring in.

You should have gone to trade school and become an electrician.

Any REALISTIC ideas how we can scale back our budget?
Here’s a breakdown of my husband and my monthly obligations:

Mortgage: $1206
Car payments: $466
Electric: $120
Natural gas: $66
Verizon: $70
Cable/phone/internet: $80
Water/waste disposal: $75
Life insurance: $85
Auto insurance: $174
Student loans: $120
Credit card: $51

Currently, my husband is getting a lot of overtime, and we are bringing home $4,400 a month. However, in June his overtime will end for about 8 months, and his income will settle back down to approx. $3,000 per month. Both of these figures are after health insurance, taxes, and our 401(k) contribution of 4%.

I am extremely grateful that we are making what we are in this terrible economy, but it’s very frustrating because once the overtime ends, we will just be making it, with room for few extras, and I just don’t know what else we can cut down/cut out.

Our mortgage is not going to change; in fact, it could very well go up if our homeowner’s insurance premium goes up or our city decides to raise the real estate tax;

We owe 3 more years on our cars, and $466 TOTAL between both payments is quite cheap, and it’s silly to trade one of our cars in for something cheaper since we have already paid so much on them, so there’s not much to do with that;

Our natural gas, electric, and water bills are right on par with the local average – we are very conscious of our lights, heat, and water usage, and can’t cut these bills back anymore without major discomfort;

We are in the middle of a 2 year contract with Verizon and are on the cheapest plan available (they actually don’t even offer our plan anymore… we are grandfathered. The cheapest plan currently for two lines is $20 extra a month);

Our phone/cable/internet bill cannot be reduced – I work at home and depend on the house phone, since my husband and I share a mere 500 peak minutes on our cells, our cable is the minimum package at $12 a month – basically just prevents us from needing rabbit ears, and our internet is the cheapest available in our area;

We just acquired life insurance, which is $50,000 each whole and $100,000 each term – that’s a necessity, especially since we are 23 and 24 and locked in our rate for life;

Our auto insurance could be lowered by upping our deductible to $500, but I called and asked about it, and it would only make a $30 difference every 6 months, which doesn’t seem worth it considering we’d be upping our deductibles so much.

The student loan… well, there’s not much we can do about that. We could get it financed for more than the standard 10 years, but then you are just spending SO much extra money in interest.

We have recently paid off $1,100 furniture, $500 department store charge, $1,500 Best Buy, $1,600 on my credit card, and now all we have left is my husband’s credit card, which has a $3,000 balance. Most of this debt was from early in our marriage and we decided quickly that we didn’t want to carry debt, so we have been working hard to pay it off. Before my husband’s overtime ends, we will have paid the credit card completely off.

So… any realistic ideas of how we might cut our expenses? All the articles on the internet are so cheesy or unrealistic. For instance, I’m not in dire enough of a situation to reduce my heat to 60 degrees!
– OUR income will be $3,000. Not just his.
The insurance deductible reduction would only lower my auto insurance $30 every SIX months, not every month. I wish it’d lower it $30 per month! :)

You have made some big strides paying off all that debt. Good job!

It looks like you will have $51 free up from the credit card debt. I suggest you add that to your student loan payment or car payment to help pay that debt down faster.

You need to get to $0 car loan payments as fast as possible. If you can sell a car and replace it with a fully paid for vehicle that helps. Drive a clunker if that is what you need to do.

Can you find more income? Is there a 2nd job husband could take while OT is not there or is there a job you can find to help compensate for lost OT?

If your husband’s credit card is at a high rate like over 20% then I suggest you contact http://www.moneymanagement.org/ because they can help reduce rates to 6%. That can be a big saver.

Can you drop Verizon? That is a lot of money for a cell phone when your budget is so tight. Vonage offers home phone service for $25 a month and there are others that are cheaper than that.

Perhaps while OT is gone you can reduce your cable and internet service so monthly outlay is less. Can you cut it altogether or go to a less expensive plan until OT is back.

Don’t try for home run but take the singles. Drop your deductible and take what they give you. Drop you thermostat to 65 if 60 is not comfortable right now. Enough little things add up.

106 Economic Questions and stuck on these??? Can you please help me?
——————————————————————————–

need to find out about AARP life insurance there was death and im a beneficiary, have not received my payment?

Have you contacted the life insurance company, or have they contacted you? How long has it been since the death? Are you sure you were the beneficiary?

AARP life insurance is actually the New York Life Insurance company. Here’s contact information for them:

http://www.aarpfinancial.com/content/Products/insrProducts_Life.cfm

what life insurance is best for a senior 62 female, on a fixed income, AARP or Landmark Life? asap?
My mom and I are ingnorant to the premiums and the small print on determining the rates. Need an honest opinion from a good christian person. Just need help in determining which is better AARP or Landmark Life? I see two very charts that have us concern if we made the right choice with the one paying more to get less…over a ten yr period. Thank you for taking time to respond

I get so mad when folks just scream buy term, when they don’t take into account what you’ve said. Unless your mom (whom I presume is the 62 yr old) has some major medical condition, then I’d, personally, say neither of the ones you mentioned. Instead, I’d have you look at an Index Universal Life (why? because it’s a permanent policy, can’t be taken away as you age so long as the premiums are kept up, etc.). I looked at one carrier just for an example. By blending the policy so it’s cheaper for her yet gives her $100,000 of coverage; coverage which doesn’t go away in ten years, and figuring her at standard health, non-smoking, we have premiums of c.$110 per month I figured her paying for 20 years and then her not putting in another penny. Structured this way, the policy would run until age 120. (THIS IS NOT a solicitation for business, I just wanted you to have some idea of what I’ve spoken about.)

There is more out there than guaranteed life and/or term. Most families, I’ve found, prefer that the insurance actually is in force when a loved one dies. Most term isn’t – simply because it often gets to ridiculously expensive rates and most can’t afford to renew it – even if the company allows for renewal at the age the person is. Many term policies won’t even renew after 85 or 90, no matter what you offer to pay.

PLEASE! see a good, licensed agent in your area. I’d suggest finding a broker, i.e., one who’s not locked into any one company’s products. There are many good companies out there (even lots of those with captive agents) but it’s also nice to be able to shop around.

I’d suggest you ask them if they can explore either a UL, IUL (indexed universal life) or potentially even a VUL (Variable universal life) product for your mom. BTW _ I also looked at a ten year $100K term policy for her – that would be about $61/month. Great. Then when you come back when she’s 72, the price jumps to $190/month for the next ten year. See? That’s why I suggest you look into a permanent policy for her now. You don’t even want to know what happens at 82. (they refuse coverage entirely in this company)

What are the three health questions asked on the AARP sponsored New York Life Insurance for people 50 to74?

One has to be do you currently take any prescription drugs.
Another one has to be- do you have any current medical conditions.
The third one might be, have you ever been hospitalized.

You have to be honest. If there is a claim, they will dig through your past.
And if you “fibbed” they do not have to pay up.

when you become a member of aarp do u automatically get life insurance? if so how much?

No, you don’t. You would have to apply for life insurance offered by an associate company.

How do I find out if my Life Insurance policy is good?
I keep hearing all the horror stories of Life Insurance policies being no good. I have a policy through AARP and New York Life. Does anyone know of a way I can check with someone regarding the dependability of my policy.

It’s not that the policies aren’t good, it’s that it’s one that doesn’t really fit your needs. New York Life has been around since the 19th century, they’re a solid company. The policies, like aarp, that are sold thru insurance companies are usually very basic, like enough for burial expenses or to cover your spouse for a while. If you’re worried, contact either a local NYL agent, (find one in the phone book and they will have the NYL logo in their ad) or call the NYL home office in new york directly and they will give you the number of agent to help you understand the policy you have. It doesn’t cost anything to have an agent contact you, as long as you don’t buy another policy from him/her.

Life expentecy is about 2 years.

Well, you’re going to have a hard time. You can get a “no medical exam” low value policy through Globe Life or Mutual of Omaha, but you have to live AT LEAST two full years after taking the insurance out, before you die, for them to pay out.

Otherwise, just start saving your money now.

Are there any life insurance that I am eligible for thats cheap?

Depending on the sport and where you live, most sports programs have insurance build into the registration fees though that’s sports association.

Your best bet is to have you parents talk to an insurance broker in your area. Policies for a minor are hit or miss depending on where you live. In most cases a 14 year old wouldn’t be able to buy a poilicy on their own (16 is often the starting point) and you would have to have you parents buy it for you.

Unless it’s an extreme sport or fairly dangerous, it’s probably more health insurance you’re looking for.

Why don’t you talk to your parents about this?
I’m sure they can set you up with something.

http://free-best-life-insures-comparator-usa.blogspot.com/

You can fill the form, and you’ll get quote of different life insurance companies. So you can find the cheap one.

Where can I Find Reliable Cheap Life Insurance Quotes?
I recently started a home internet based business. When I was just starting out I went without insurance for a while. Now that things are going well I would like to buy a life insurance policy.

There are a ton of life insurance sites, but most of them seem biased or focused on an individual provider. Where can I find a good life insurance quote site that is unbiased or gives me quotes from a wide array of services?

Also, are there any good tips for saving money buying life insurance for small business owners?

As a life insurance agent who deals with insurance day in and day out I appreciate your frustrations from looking at thousands of insurance sites. My site
http://www.smartlifeinsurancequotes.net addresses these issues.

The following are five of the most common mistakes consumers make when buying life insurance.

1. Selecting term life insurance solely because it’s cheap.
Shopping for life insurance by just comparing premiums is asking for trouble. You should compare company ratings to determine financial strength and policy features, such as convertibility options. While the policy’s premium is certainly a factor, ensuring that your policy matches your financial goals is more important.

2. Not understanding that term life insurance is temporary.
That’s why it’s called “term” insurance — because you buy it for a set period of time, most commonly 20 years. This is fine for a temporary need, such as insuring yourself until your mortgage is paid off or funding your children’s college expenses in the event of your premature death.

A 20-year level-term life insurance policy you bought when you were 30 would expire when you’re only 50. At that point, you still might need to carry insurance, but your age and health conditions might make it impossible or very expensive to do so. At least, if your policy has a convertibility option you can get coverage, it just might be down right unaffordable.

3. Buying from a less-than-stable insurance company.
Don’t be afraid to ask about an insurance company’s ratings. You can also look for an insurer’s Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s or A.M. Best ratings on the Internet.

There are many insurance carriers with high financial ratings (A+ or better) so you shouldn’t have to buy insurance from a lower rated company. But, keep in mind that ratings can and will change, so ratings alone shouldn’t be your only consideration.

4. Buying life insurance coverage based on a set formula.
You may have heard that a good rule of thumb is to buy life insurance coverage equal to 10 times your annual salary or 10 times your beneficiary’s annual financial need. The idea is that if your surviving beneficiary invests the life insurance proceeds in the stock market (getting an average 10 percent annual return), they’ll have a steady income stream and never need to tap the investment principal.

While this formula isn’t a bad place to start, everyone has different needs, so don’t assume that 10 times your salary is what you need to carry in life insurance. The best advice here is to sit down with a knowledgeable agent that will take the time to learn about your needs.

5. Failing to regularly review your policy.
Is your former spouse still the beneficiary of your life insurance policy? Did you buy term insurance to cover you while you pay off your mortgage? If you refinanced during the latest rate drop and restarted the clock on your loan, you might also need to update your insurance term. Life definitely has a way of throwing changes your way. Just make sure your life insurance changes along with you.

Also when shopping on the internet for insurance be careful of sites that are there purely as lead generators because these sites just sell your informations. But, there are plenty of legitamte and trustful site on the internet than one can purchase insurance.

You can tell the good from the bad by taking these steps.
1- do not put information in a from unless you actually get a real quote.
2- look for site that have a phone number with real agents that answer the phone.
3-If the sites says get quotes from multiple agents then the site is selling your information as a lead service.

Sites like http://www.smartlifeinsurancequotes.net can serve as an excellant resource to start your online life insurance shopping. They have agents that you can speak to or email. You can get quotes from over 140 companies with a robust data base.
They are many sites like these but you have to do you research. Like anything else there is the good and bad and the internet is the best place to start your search.

Good luck

The quickest and easiest thing to do is pick up the phone and call some local insurance agents. They all give free quotes.

where I can get a whole life or universal life insurance quote online without speaking to a agent?
Alot (actually i should say ALL) of these “online quotes” are false, they don’t give you prices. I don’t want to talk to a agent until I have decided on a company.

Now you see why its worthless asking these rubes on “yahoo no answers”. They can’t understand the simple concept of precisely answering your question….nothing more.

No doubt you have your reasons for whole life or universal and don’t want to be bothered by pesky salesman. (Term life is the stupid play for those who live long lives.)

Maybe you will join the growing group of us who self insure, no need to deal with these annoying sales people and their little games.

What is the average life insurance quote?
Both monthly and yearly (both for a smoker and and non-smoker) and (for a drinker and a non-drinker)…

How old is the average insured? How much coverage does the average policy have? How do you average whole life, and term life?

How long is a string?

The possible answers are endless.

Instant Term Life Insurance Quote?
I just got employed as a VA (virtual assistant). Am I qualified for a term life insurance? And how can I an instant term life quote. I need one that is relevant and accurate.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

$5.

Any instant term life insurance quote, not underwritten, is just a number in the air. To get a REAL quote, you have to fill out the application and be underwritten.

Almost anyone can buy term life insurance. To qualify, you have to be in reasonably good health.

But if you’re looking for links, those links are only trying to harvest your personal information. You get a REAL quote, from a REAL agent, licensed to sell insurance in your state.

does anyone know of a good life insurance quote site?
I need to do a comparison so I can get the best rates.

There is no such thing as a good life insurance quote site. First, all online sites “lowball” premiums, quoting best underwriting classes for which most won’t qualify, and ignoring underwriting issues that will adversely affect the rate. More importantly, life insurance is not a commodity to be purchased by price; it is an intricate financial tool that is worthless unless properly employed. Consult with a properly qualified financial planner or advisor, not an insurance agent.

The health insurance companies pay out 10% of their income?
for medical bills. I was shocked! look it up it is on Forbes 400 under health insurance. Advertising takes a bigger bite of 20% for the TV spots, those flyer’s you get in the mail. Advertising isn’t cheap.
Then it said the CEO’s at the top make obscene wages, that would pay all the medical bills in the country by their self. They have employees who had to be paid, huge sky scraper buildings that are not cheap. Then they still make billions in profits.
Most of the people who have health insurance the company will not pay their bill because of some minor thing in the fine print.
such as people on the job when they get to sick to work the policy is dropped. Most life insurance companies do not pay out when the person dies. That was a shock, either it was from a previous illness or questionable death. Who has a health insurance story they would like to share?

You have totally inaccurate information. Read the papers just today, the insurance industry averages less than 2.5% profit, the rest being paid out to medical suppliers. The average for industry in general is 5%.
As a former business manager at a hospital, I know the allegation you make are totally invalid.

The Scourge of Obamacare (Government health care) ?
Your thoughts on this informative article? Best answer to the most well thought and well reasoned comment (regardless of which side of the issue you’re on). This is a challenge to either defend or refute the article.

10 Questions for Supporters of ‘ObamaCare’
by Dennis Prager (Copyright © 2009 Salem Web Network.)
Tuesday, July 28, 2009

1. President Barack Obama repeatedly tells us that one reason national health care is needed is that we can no longer afford to pay for Medicare and Medicaid. But if Medicare and Medicaid are fiscally insolvent and gradually bankrupting our society, why is a government takeover of medical care for the rest of society a good idea? What large-scale government program has not eventually spiraled out of control, let alone stayed within its projected budget? Why should anyone believe that nationalizing health care would create the first major government program to “pay for itself,” let alone get smaller rather than larger over time? Why not simply see how the Democrats can reform Medicare and Medicaid before nationalizing much of the rest of health care?

2. President Obama reiterated this past week that “no insurance company will be allowed to deny you coverage because of a pre-existing medical condition.” This is an oft-repeated goal of the president’s and the Democrats’ health care plan. But if any individual can buy health insurance at any time, why would anyone buy health insurance while healthy? Why would I not simply wait until I got sick or injured to buy the insurance? If auto insurance were purchasable once one got into an accident, why would anyone purchase auto insurance before an accident? Will the Democrats next demand that life insurance companies sell life insurance to the terminally ill? The whole point of insurance is that the healthy buy it and thereby provide the funds to pay for the sick. Demanding that insurance companies provide insurance to everyone at any time spells the end of the concept of insurance. And if the answer is that the government will now make it illegal not to buy insurance, how will that be enforced? How will the government check on 300 million people?

3. Why do supporters of nationalized medicine so often substitute the word “care” for the word “insurance?” it is patently untrue that millions of Americans do not receive health care. Millions of Americans do not have health insurance but virtually every American (and non-American on American soil) receives health care.

4. No one denies that in order to come close to staying within its budget health care will be rationed. But what is the moral justification of having the state decide what medical care to ration?

5. According to Dr. David Gratzer, health care specialist at the Manhattan Institute, “While 20 years ago pharmaceuticals were largely developed in Europe, European price controls made drug development an American enterprise. Fifteen of the 20 top-selling drugs worldwide this year were birthed in the United States.” Given how many lives — in America and throughout the world – American pharmaceutical companies save, and given how expensive it is to develop any new drug, will the price controls on drugs envisaged in the Democrats’ bill improve or impair Americans’ health?

6. Do you really believe that private insurance could survive a “public option”? Or is this really a cover for the ideal of single-payer medical care? How could a private insurance company survive a “public option” given that private companies have to show a profit and government agencies do not have to – and given that a private enterprise must raise its own money to be solvent and a government option has access to others’ money — i.e., taxes?

7. Why will hospitals, doctors, and pharmaceutical companies do nearly as superb a job as they now do if their reimbursement from the government will be severely cut? Haven’t the laws of human behavior and common sense been repealed here in arguing that while doctors, hospitals and drug companies will make significantly less money they will continue to provide the same level of uniquely excellent care?

8. Given how many needless procedures are ordered to avoid medical lawsuits and how much money doctors spend on medical malpractice insurance, shouldn’t any meaningful “reform” of health care provide some remedy for frivolous malpractice lawsuits?

9. Given how weak the U.S. economy is, given how weak the U.S. dollar is, and given how much in debt the U.S. is in, why would anyone seek to have the U.S. spend another trillion dollars? Even if all the other questions here had legitimate answers, wouldn’t the state of the U.S. economy alone argue against national health care at this time?

10. Contrary to the assertion of President Obama — “we spend much more on health care than any other nation but aren’t any healthier for it” — we are healthier. We wait far less time for procedures and surgeries. Our life expectancy with virtually any

Nope. If you bought 20 year level term, it’s level, for 20 full years.

Can my term life insurance rates go up?
If I have already bought a term life insurance plan for 20 years a year ago, and I get a new job which is a higher risk job, will my insurance rate go up? If so how much could it go up by?

Nope. If you bought 20 year level term, it’s level, for 20 full years.

What height/weight ratio will get me best life insurance rates?
I want to replace some ART life insurance with level term. But I’m worried my weight relative to height might keep me from the best rate. Is there some way to find out what numbers trigger higher risk? If so I might wait another year and try to lose 10-20 lbs.

Each company has different height/weight charts, so there is no single answer to this question. However, the height /weight charts of several companies are available on the internet, and if you do a search using insure.com and enter your height/weight, it will filter out policies you are unlikely to qualify for.

What Factors Determine life Insurance Rates?
What Factors Determine Term Life Insurance Rates? I’m 29, healthy, and bought a house 1.5 years ago (our only debt besides my SLs) if that has any bearing on your thoughts.

Rates or policy premiums are affected by two major influences. The main influence is one’s personal health or family health history. The second major influence that affects one’s life or health insurance policy premium is age.

Not knowing exactly how much weight age holds in determining life and health insurance policy premiums we do know that two individuals (one 18 years old and the other 60 years old) with the same health and health history show that the 60 year old will always have higher health and life insurance premiums. The amount of weight age holds is likely calculated into a quoting algorithm put in place by actuaries.

Personal health and family health history is a major contributor when calculating health and life insurance premiums. More common for life insurance due to fraudulent activities most life insurance companies will request blood and urine samples to ensure no pre-existing conditions exist. A licensed professional will come to your home to draw blood and collect a urine sample as well as ask dozens of health related questions. Some policy questions involve high blood pressure, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and other serious health risks. Now, there is a Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance policy where the life insurance company has taken an average assumption regarding risk and they will insure any healthy person without blood or urine samples. These Guaranteed Issue Life Insurance policies are capped to a certain benefit meaning the most life insurance you could get is $150,000 or so. If you have perfect health you will find that a standard term policy will have more affordable premiums than a Guaranteed Issue simply because you are paying for some risk with the Guaranteed Issue. The Guaranteed Issue is a good option for those that don’t have time or don’t deal with needles very well. Please note that with a Guaranteed Issue Policy you still have to answer health related questions and not telling the truth usually ends up with a voided policy or a policy that will not pay death benefits.

Unfortunately, one’s health and family history isn’t always controllable. Some diseases are hereditary and perfect health which equals affordable health and life insurance policies is not possible. Be in the best health your body or family history allows for and buy health insurance that provides good benefits and is still affordable. http://ClickCompareInsure.com

Best Life Insurance Rates for a Senior Citizen?
Where can a senior citizen find the best life insurance rates? I live in the U.S. and I am not a very wealthy man and so I would really need to find the lowest rates for my life insurance policy. I am healthy and I do not smoke or have any other unhealthy habits, so which insurance company do you think could get me the best life policy rates?

Hi! My dad had the same problem some time ago. He also was looking for those low rates for his life policy. Well, I suggested that he would just compare the rates online, because that is by far the easiest way to find the one company that can offer the best life insurance deal for you.. Good luck!

Is it true that term life insurance rates will be decreasing in 2008?
Will it happen right away or gradually throughout the year if so? I was ready to buy our policies a couple of weeks ago until I saw a large article published about the probability of this happening…

It depends.

As new actuarial tables are developed, new mortality and expense calculations are developed. If an insurance company creates a new insurance policy that incorporates these new (lower) mortality expenses, then the premiums of the new product will be lower.

But let’s say an insurance company wants to create such a policy on January 1, 2008 and that company is going to do business in all fifty states. The insurance company will have to get the product approved by fifty different state department of insurance. This process may take more than a year.

Here is the bottom line: if you need [term] insurance to protect your family, buy it today. Then keep your eye out for a policy to replace it at a later date. Don’t use the possibility of a lower rate, at some possible day in the future as an excuse to delay getting protection for your family.

what are best term life insurance rates ? where can i find correct info?
what are best term life insurance rates ? where can i find correct info? can any one help me regard it

Term rates are extremely competitive. You won’t find a premium difference great enough to make it worth shopping.

It’s MUCH more important to find coverage that fits your objectives. For this, you need to consult with a properly qualified financial advisor or planner (NOT an insurance agent).

And remember, term is rarely the most cost efficient choice if the insurance need is longer than 20 years. Depending on your situation and goals, term may not be appropriate at all. You need a thorough financial analysis. Many advisors will do this for you at no cost.

CA Irrevocable life insurance trust, divorce and payments?
What happens if there is an irrevocable life insurance trust set up and executed in the state of California, but the trust was initially setup when the person was married… they then got divorced and the trust contains a line stating: “spouse to receive interest until death” Does this line mean that the beneficiaries will not get their money until the “spouse” pass away or does the divorce negate this line in the trust?

If the spouse was not named or defined by name, then at the time of death, whichever person is the legal spouse, gets the money.

Spouse is only receiving the trust INTEREST. You have to read the details of the trust, to see how the beneficiaries get paid. Sounds like once the spouse dies, the interest then reverts back to the trust.

Divorce does NOT negate an irrevocable life insurance trust.

Can I create an irrevocable life insurance trust that exists in perpetuity?
Interested in creating a ‘family trust’ that can be used to benefit subsequent generations in a dynastic fashion

You can create an irrevocable life insurance trust that lasts a long time, but not in perpetuity. The trust will end at the end of 100 years from the last beneficiary that you designate. As long as you are living, you can add trust beneficiaries (new children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc). But after your death the trust will be dissolved 100 years from the birth date of the youngest beneficiary.

I recommend you discuss your goals and with a competent professional before you make any estate plans. If you want the effects of your estate to last forever, you might consider a charitable endowment.

when you become a member of aarp do u automatically get life insurance? if so how much?

No, you don’t. You would have to apply for life insurance offered by an associate company.

Noticed the shell game going on with government medical takeover? Claim 848 bil but 2 trillion closer to truth?
Almost all big business interests have been bribed by the Obama administration. Like big Pharma, AMA, AARP, Lawyers Ass. Insurance Companies, Medical Devise Makers, For Profit Hospitals (Non profit charity hospitals hit with excise tax).

Only the little guys who depend on those hospitals have been left out if this bribe off, and they are trying to take care of us all using deception, a shell game. We will pay more, get worse service and a less effective health system. A government panel has just been made more important in deciding the needed testing procedures and what did they do? They cut mammography testing priorities, which will be followed by insurance companies, against doctors panels in the national cancer societies better judgment. MORE WOMEN WILL DIE OF BREAST CANCER AS A RESULT.

Congress has been putting out a rouse which is infantile in it’s dishonesty, but so complex in it’s wording over 2000 pages that they know most people won’t have a clue what they are doing until it’s done. Most of the news media is going right along with it, and make no mistake, they are bought off and or so ideologically tied to the democrat party that they will not start making waves for them until they actually see the deception in action, and most like GE=NBC are so tied in financially, getting fed windfall after windfall from our money by the 100s of billions, that they don’t care what happens to our system. They have theirs through the current administration, they are bought off.

We, on the other hand, are SCREWED, if we don’t wake up, and now.

See the Medical Bill is a shell game of cost hiding and slight of hand concerning provisions and effects as well. Over 10 years they tax our economy heavily, but only provide services at all starting in 3 years and don’t get to full force for 7 years or more. The actual cost of the program is double or more while it is actually running than what it says it is now.

Does Anyone think it will be free health care? Think again, because it won’t be. That is another shell game designed to create huge popularity in some groups, but they will be disappointed, seriously. Has Obama kept his promises to this point? All he’s done is attempt to make it seem as he has, but he doesn’t. Some people thought they got a tax break? They didn’t, and they will understand this when they go to file for their refund and get all they had received, deducted from that refund. Those who didn’t have much of a refund to have it deducted from? They will be on the hook for tax payments and will be in a world of hurt if they don’t have the extra money to pay up.

Obama knows people will see what’s up once the whole thing comes down, and he doesn’t care because by then it will be to late. The federal government will have it’s power over banks which will allow them to control who gets credit. They will control much of the manufacturing interests. With this medical take over they will control another 18% of the economy, and more importantly to them, everything can be tied into health care. The car you drive, what you eat, owning guns, your recreational activities like hiking or boating or skiing or hunting or being a couch potato, most anything. It’s a huge amount of control we give them if we allow government to be in charge of health care.

What can they do with all that power? Buy of important components of our society and business to give themselves even more power and more control.

If you like control of the government of some groups and think it’s great because you don’t like them, just wait until they drop it on you. Wait until they tell you what you have to buy. When you have to go to medical institutions and when you can’t. Make you wait in lines. Tell you what to eat drink or smoke. Make you fill out tons of paperwork on your and your families private lives, or what used to be private. Have bureaucrats looking over your easily accessible electronic medical records and asking you questions about this or that and “suggesting” changes in your behavior. Just wait, you will get what you deserve. All the little people who support leftist revolutions get smashed once their support gets those who promised them the world, what they want. It’s always been that way and it probably always will. They believe that those who promise to take resources away from one group will be giving those resources to those who supported them … they never do and they proceed to use that power to take away the power that the little people had to put them in power, because it can also be used to take them back out. We are not taught so much about the benefits to the people after the Bolshevik revolution, the revolution in Cuba, North Korea, North Vietnam, China, and others, but it always ends up the revolution is won on the backs of the poor, and those who end up suffering worse for it, is the poor.

Obama wants the control that controlling our health care will bring, and I’m pretty sure he’s bettin
… betting that by the time the little people truly understand in majority what has been done to them, it will be TOO LATE. He will have the control needed to crush any opposition and by off those groups he needs to totally cement power, and the constitution will be destroyed, with his group’s controls in place in it’s stead.

Read up on this assessment of the shell game being played on the health care bill.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2009/11/2…

You got it covered. Good insight

I turned myself in to Obama’s fascist Website, how about you? Everyone turn themselves in! What will they do?
Subject: I say this, you stinking fascist maggots! KISS MY FORKING ***! COME GET ME! NOW **** YOU! NOW!

You know Obama wants you to turn me in for telling you Democrats deliberately ran up health care to take over?
That’s right, Obama wants you to turn me in, what do you think they will do to me? I can only say to them, come get some you pieces of crap.

This is against the law in the US, expressly against the law to keep track of free speech and those who spoke it.

The backers of the leftists who are in control now not only deliberately run up health care expenses by turning loose lawyers to sue over any little thing, and making frivolous law suits come with no penalty so people and lawyers just roll the dice all the time in law suits with no down side. Even if there is no merit often medical providers just pay up to save the costs of litigation.

They also deliberately made Medicare and Medicaid easy to steal from, conducive to fraud, to drive up costs.

They also made Medicaid and Medicare available to illegal aliens, and forced Hospitals to treat anyone without recompense from the government who mandated it, to drive up costs. Made it wide spread, and pushed down on the price they pay for treatment, so that the medical providers would have to overcharge those left, especially those without insurance who just get raped.

The democrats also stop legislation that would allow competition between insurance companies in different states, to destroy competition and drive up the cost. There are people living 20 miles from each other, and one has to pay 40% more for the same exact coverage. Why would they do that? The goals are obvious by the obvious target of the results of their actions.

These are all actions the Democrats have taken, which is obviously, in my considered opinion (after years of looking for answers why, coming to light in consideration of these things implemented by the Obama administration) to drive up the cost of health care in the most vile Machiavellian way imaginable, so that they could take over.

And that’s not the only thing. They destroyed the economy using fuel as a weapon to trigger the bomb democrats set up in the mortgage based securities market. When you see what actions they have taken, you can see that plan plain as day.

There is so much more.

Now they are buying off groups like AARP to do things which are totally against their members best interests. As the president is using advirors like Rahm Immanuels brother, Ezekial, Cass Sunstien, and the medical Czar what’s their name? who Each advocate limiting health care to the very old and very young, denying expensive treatments that many old people require, to cut costs way down. These people are sick, and they see people as live stock, but of course all of this wouldn’t apply to Government officials, they are better than us live stock.

They are also using the green movement to help destroy the economy, not because they care about the environment more than anyone else, but in order to destroy the economy and put in their own people, their own Oligarchy as they did with the Auto Companies when they stole them and gave them to their friends, and used our tax money to pump those friends of theirs up.

So much more, you better investigate for yourself and you can’t trust TV or the entertainment industry because they are all thick as thieves and getting your resources as payment, like GE which owns NBC got a big ol government contract and is expecting many more.

They go after everyone, especially media, who speaks out against them and work to ruin them.

They vilify those who don’t agree with them and paint them as evil people.

They say all those who complain are backed by the rich republicans, when that is exactly how the democrats work, sending out Acorn and Unions after AIG executives, driving them by their homes on a bus, making them fear for their lives, and threatening the bond holders of GM debt who were legally in first place into giving up their legal position, same with Chrysler.

It doesn’t matter if you are a republican or democrat, I am neither and I don’t like either. You better start paying attention or your behind will be in the soup, just like everyone else. Look what Obama did to those black DC school kids who had vouchers to get them better and so much safer schooling, he just had them jerked away even though they saved about 40% on education costs and provided excellent education in stead of terribly substandard and dangerous education.

Anyone who answered this question just to say “that’s too long, I’m not reading that” is an IDIOT. These are the apathetic lemming that will follow this administration blindly, right off the cliff, dragging the rest of my country down with them.

Our nation is being blatantly and overtly hijacked right under our noses, because of people who don’t care enough to read even a question as long as this one, let alone seek the truth for themselves. You should all be sterilized. Oh, wait, our new science czar has already proposed that. Or was it the health czar? Or the green jobs czar?

What this country really needs is a qualification test to be certified to vote. A citizen should be forced to demonstrate a minimum level of awareness and understanding about what is going on in the world and what it means before being allowed to make a decision on it.
